When you think if aromatherapy you may think of smells but it is said to also help in the area of disease prevention. There is a science that has knowledge of the biology activity and the synergy of the essential oils. The dosages and how they long they last have also been studied so they know how much is enough. But before the aromatherapy can be given out, a medical diagnose from an accredited doctor must be given.
In the old days of the Anglo-Saxon world they believed that there were alternative medicines other than the ones a doctor would only prescribe. In some places such as France, essential oils are regarded as prescription drugs and can only be given to a patient by a physician. In countries like the United States, Russia, Germany and Japan they have not recognized the essential oils as any kind of medicine. Doctors will not prescribe an alternative medicine.
